Bayer CropScience Innovation Award

Bayer CropScience Norden wishes to support sustainable initiatives with agricultural and food production. In order to focus attention on this development, Bayer CropScience grants a nordic award: the Bayer CropScience Innovation Award.

The award is endowed with EUR 10,000.

Nominees

The award is among others granted students, scientists, advisors, farmers or salespersons from one of the Nordic countries. People, who through their practical work within agriculture or through research and development, has brought renewal and sustainable innovations within areas such as:
- Integrated production
- Food quality and food safety
- Plant breeding
- Environmental safety

Objective

The objective of the award is to bring attention to the sustainable conditions of the production of healthy foods. The award is granted to help the recipient continue his or her work.

Committee

A selection committee represents universities, research, advice and Bayer CropScience. The committee nominates the candidates and appoints the laureate.

Awards ceremony

The award is granted in March every/every other year.
