Visions become reality: Sustainable buildings
The buildings of tomorrow will use a minimum of energy, and that is precisely the aim of Bayer’s EcoCommercial Building program. The program is globally oriented and can be implemented all over the world. Worldwide demand for ecological buildings is growing constantly – especially now that they have also become economically viable.

Bayer included once again in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index
Leverkusen, September 9, 2010 – Bayer stock has been included once again in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), providing renewed proof of the standing of the company as an international leader in sustainability. Bayer is thus one of very few companies headquartered in Germany to have been listed in the DJSI World without interruption since the establishment of the index in 1999.

Competition winning students agree: Plastic is fantastic!
To host the national “Explore the World of Plastics” competition, Bayer Norden teamed up with the trade association The Danish Plastic Federation. The winning 10th grade science class from the Højstrup School in Odense was awarded with a successful two-day trip to Bayer’s headquarters and Baylab Plastics in Germany.

The science class from Danish school Højstrupskolens wins Bayer's and the Plastics Industry's school competition
Students from grade 10 at Højstrup School came out victorious in the school competition "Explore the World of Plastics". Finals were held on Thursday 14 January 2010 in Vejle, Denmark.
